In doing so, schemes benefit from: - Reduced premiums for de-risking. - Reduced over payments. - Reduced fraud. - Improved Pensions Dashboard matching. - Improved member engagement. - Good data and ESOG compliance. - TPR/FCA compliance. - Established due diligence already completed. Zedra asked MM to deploy mortality screening, beneficiary tracing and address tracing to a small scheme with around 1700 members. That scheme regularly conducts monthly mortality screening. - A substantial number of high confidence deaths and possible deaths were identified that had not been reported by the regular screening. - Over 500 newly identified spouses were provided along with over 1800 potential beneficiaries. - Confidence that the address data was correct was established on over 60% of the records, with over 250 addresses confidently identified as incorrect with the member having moved away.
