Data Prepartions for Dashboards – The Impact of Poor Member Data

For any further questions get in touch with the team here at MM to see how we can help uplift various aspects of your member data.
Please watch our webinar on Data Preparation for the Pension Dashboards. During this session we cover the following topics:
The News: The current government identity provider is now the provider for PDP. The service will now be using verified emails & mobile numbers if provided by the user which will be used as key information to trace members to their pots.
PDP Data Standards: The data standards provide the basis for data interoperability across the pensions dashboards ecosystem. The standards identify members using ‘find data’ which will be delivered in a JSON schema.
Data Standards ‘Find Data’: Mandatory data fields critical for matching members with multiple pots following a ‘find request’.
Possible Matches: Code to explain there has been a possible match (the pension provider or scheme needs further information from the user to be able to complete the matching). Therefore, the user should contact the pension or provider or scheme directly using the administrator contact details. What are the impact of possible matches for schemes and administrators.
Matching People with their Pensions: It is the responsibility of each scheme to decide its own matching criteria. Every scheme needs to review its policy.
What action needs to be taken prior to connection? Conduct data assessment to influence matching criteria and enrich member data to increase high confidence matches.
Why is this important?
Invalid information within ‘Find Data’ will result in high possible matches
Non-compliance with GDPR and high risk of missing pots or matching incorrect pots
High customer complaints and operational cost fixing issues post connection
